Eva Peron, born in 1919 in Buenos Aires, was the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 to 1952. She married Juan Domingo Perón in 1943 and became the First Lady of Argentina in 1944 after Juan Domingo Perón was elected President. The couple had three children: Marta, Florencia and Isabel. Eva Peron's political career ended with her husband's exile in 1955 and her subsequent arrest and trial in 1960
She died two years later in Buenos Aires and is buried in a mausoleum in her husband's home town of Haedo, Buenos Aires Province.
